On September 24, Omagh will be celebrating its anniversary. Mark Curtis will be the guest minister. A light lunch will follow the worship service.
On June 18, there will be no service at Omagh, as Boston will be celebrating their anniversary, and both congregations may worship together.
On June 4, there will be Communion during the Sunday service. Afterwards, there will be a Canada 150 flag rededication ceremony. Refreshments will follow the service.
There will be a congregational meeting held immediately after the service on Sunday, May 7.
The Good Friday continental breakfast will be held at Omagh, beginning at 9:00 am. At 10:00 am, there will be special music presented by “Youth Collective”. The Good Friday worship service begins at 10:30 am.
We will be celebrating the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper on Sunday, March 5. There will also be a loose offering for Presbyterian World Service and Development at this time.
At the end of 2016, the “Presbyterian Record” ceased to publish. In its place, the National Church will be printing a newspaper four times a year. It will be in print only, and if you are interested in subscribing, you may do so online at www.presbyterian.ca. Each congregation will also receive a few copies. If you are interested in getting a copy through the congregation, please sign the sheet at the back of the church.
A potluck lunch will be held on February 26, 2017. The Annual Meeting will be held immediately after the lunch.
Omagh’s worship services for the month of August will take place at Boston Presbyterian Church, at 9:30 am.
From October 10th to 17th, Rev. Croll is on vacation. Our guest minister will be Rev. Wayne Baswick.
