The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated on Sunday, December 1. We will be supporting the local food bank that morning with gifts of food or monetary donations.
Instead of the traditional Sunday School pageant, the congregation is invited to participate in a Christmas program during the service. Members are invited to sing or play a piece of music, perform a skit, share a favourite Christmas poem or memory. Please let Donna know if you are interested in participating. The Christmas program will be on December 8, with a potluck to follow.
The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated on Sunday, March 3. A loose offering will be taken that morning in support of Presbyterian World Service and Development.
There will be a potluck lunch following the worship service on February 24. The annual meeting will immediately follow the lunch.
Omagh will be celebrating its 180th anniversary on Sunday, September 16. The guest preacher is Rev. Dennis Cook. A light lunch will be held downstairs, following the service. There will be no service at Boston that morning so that both churches may worship together.
The Good Friday service will be held at the church at 10:30 am. Before the service, a continental breakfast will be provided from 9:00 am until 10:oo am. There is no charge for the breakfast but donations are appreciated.
The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated on Sunday, March 4. A special offering will be taken that morning in support of Presbyterian World Service and Development, our denomination’s Third World relief and development agency.
A potluck lunch will be held on Sunday, February 25, immediately following the service. The annual meeting will take place after the potluck lunch.
Save the Date! The Sunday School Christmas Play, “Waiting for Christmas” will take place on Sunday, December 10, during the service. A potluck is planned to follow the service.
